DESCRIPTION:Camp Ware is planning a spectacular weekend of fall themed activities for scouts throughout Chester County!  Pack 110 will have the opportunity to camp together and meet new friends while enjoying all that this iconic location has to offer.\n \nGuided programs led by staff will include:  Glow in the Dark Pinewood Derby car races\, Archery / slingshot / BB gun ranges\, Nature Exploration\, Innovation (STEM lab)\, Crafts\, whittling\, and more yet to be named.  Those who have been at this event or Camp Ware before know how fun these weekend programs can be.  If you haven’t been yet\, this is a fantastic way to explore all that Ware has to offer our scouts!\n \nActivities will begin on Saturday morning.  Campers will have the option to stay both Friday & Saturday or Saturday only.  Lunch and dinner will be provided on Saturday as well as a Sunday breakfast.\nThe registration deadline for our pack is Wednesday 8/14.

DESCRIPTION:Please wear “Class B” – Pack Tee Shirts for this meeting. \nThis is our big Opening Night for our 2024-25 Scouting year so there will be lots of fun activities for new and existing Pack 110 Scouts! We are counting on a BIG turnout from our existing Scouts to help make a BIG impression on our new and potential Scouts.  This first meeting will really set the tone for this year and will focus on Family Fun! \nWe will be collecting dues for existing Scouts and applications for new Scouts.  All new Scouts that register at the opening meeting will receive custom Pack 110 t-shirt.  Additional t-shirts for existing Scouts (and parents) can be purchased for $10 per shirt. \nBring a Friend!  Any existing Scouts that bring a friend that is interested in joining the pack will receive a special prize. Existing Scouts should introduce their guest to the cubmaster in order to receive their prize. \nThe Den Leaders and Pack Committee are excited about the upcoming year. \nFamily Scouting\nPack 110 is proud to be participating in the Family Scouting program. This means that we can open up our awesome Scouting program to boys and girls. SUMMARY:2024 Summer Overnight Camp at Camp Ware *SOLD OUT*
DESCRIPTION:This summer\, Pack 110 will be attending Camp Ware’s 2024 Cub Scout Overnight Camp from Thursday\, July 17th – Sunday\, July 21st (Webelos eligible to arrive on Wednesday\, July 16th – more on this below). \nSummer camp is an exciting opportunity for Cub Scouts to have a lot of fun while accomplishing many requirements to help them along the advancement trail. Overnight resident camp offers programs that draw from the Cub Scout advancement requirements in your scout’s book wrapped up in a cool theme. \nPrograms are rank specific\, designed to help Scouts advance.  During the four & five day sessions Webelos can begin their adventure on Wednesday or Thursday; Cub Scouts will begin their stay on Thursday. \nYour Scout will have an amazing adventure swimming\, shooting\, exploring nature\, building things\, crafting\, playing games\, and making new friends. The Cub Scout summer camp experience runs Thursday through Sunday for all ranks (Tiger\, Bear\, Wolf\, Webelos and Arrow of Light). \nGiven the option to arrive a day early\, your Webelos/Arrow of Light scouts get the camp to themselves. Program provides them with a little extra something regarding moving on to Boy Scouts but don’t fear they’ll get equally as much attending for only four days.  This is pretty cool in that the Webelos can then help the younger Scouts acclimate. Regardless of when you get to camp\, a great time is guaranteed… Both Scouts and adults! \nParent Campers Welcome\, but not Required\nIn order to have a successful week at camp\, we are required to have adequate parent attendees to supervise the scouts\, but if you can’t attend your scout still can.  Besides the opportunity to spend quality time with your son/Scout in an outdoor setting void of the distractions video games and television\, you too will benefit from the valuable message shared by our trained camp staff. Summer camp also provides a phenomenal opportunity to interact with other leaders where ideas\, challenges and experiences are shared. We promise that you too will have a great time at camp! \n\n\n\n\nNOTE: It is the policy of the Chester County Council\, BSA that any attendee\, 18 years and older\, that is attending Cub Scout Overnight Camp must be registered as a pack leader with the Boy Scouts of America. \nThis policy remains in effect no matter the duration of your stay. The registration will require you to provide each adult’s BSA identification number to reserve. \n\n\n\n\nREQUIRED: All campers must complete a Health and Medical Information form prior to arriving at camp\nCamp attendees will need to fill out the appropriate form at https://www.scouting.org/health-and-safety/ahmr/ in order to attend camp.  Choose from one of the first two options\, depending on the duration of your stay\, and complete all sections.  \nYou will need to reference your immunization records to complete your form. \nFor campers staying longer than 72 hours\, your form includes a Pre-Participation Physical (section C) that must be completed in a medical office by certified and licensed physician (MD\, DO)\, nurse practitioner\, or physician assistant – so plan in advance! DESCRIPTION:It’s time for one of our FAVORITE Pack activities- the CUB CAKE BAKE\, Friday\, March 8th at the Hillsdale Cafeteria. \nIt should be a great\, messy time.  Please plan to arrive no later than 6:30 PM with your baked cake\, icing\, decorations and decorating tools so you can get registered and be ready to start decorating. The Pack will not be providing icing this year (the bulk icing we used to get did not spread very well). \nBelow you will find the rules as well as some other details regarding allergy information.  I know it is a lot of information\, but please read through so you have all the information needed. \n**** Since everyone will be busy working on their masterpieces\, no food will be for sale at this Pack Meeting. \nNow on to the Cake Bake Rules: \n\nThis is a Cub – Parent/Family/Mentor project.  If 2 or 3 Cubs and their partners want to coordinate with each other and work as a Team\, that is OK\, too. They will just have to share the prize if they win.\nBaking will be done at home; Decorating must be done at Pack Meeting. Please decide on a theme and bring appropriate supplies. You can bring food coloring to change frosting colors as well.\nJust about any (appropriate) cake theme is welcome.\nNo store-bought cakes!\nCake mixes are fine.\nMust be a cake\, no rice crispy treat sculptures.\nEntire creation must be edible\, including all decorations.\nPlease register your cake when you first arrive.\nCakes will be judged and prizes will be awarded in the following categories:\n\nMost Colorful\n3-dimensional\nMost Creative\nBest Looking\nMost Interesting\nMost Unusual\nBest Scout Theme\nJudges’ Choice\nScouts’ Choice\n\n\nYou are responsible for your work area and your cake.  Please remove all debris and clean your area prior leaving the Pack Meeting.  Floors and tables will be lined with plastic sheeting. If time allows\, after the judging\, several cakes will be selected\, via a drawing\, to be cut and shared with the Pack.  If you want to take your cake home intact\, please do not submit your cake for this drawing. DESCRIPTION:Overnights with Delaware Nature Society (DelNature) are a wonderful guided experience for our scouts. \nOvernight trips include multiple hands-on activities led by dedicated naturalists. Group leaders work with DelNature staff to create an exciting outdoor/ indoor adventure that includes just the features you want. \nBased at Ashland’s Overnight Lodge\, each traditional Overnight event includes a night hike\, campfire\, morning walk\, one evening presentation and one daytime field study. \nThe designed programs this year will include: \nSkulls & Skins: Use your detective skills to identify mammals by their skulls and skins. Discover the adaptations that differentiate herbivores\, carnivores\, and omnivores. \nLenape Lifeways: Learn how Lenni Lenape depended on the natural world for their sources of food\, clothing\, shelter and tools. DESCRIPTION:The 2023 Pack 110 Iditarod will be on Friday\, December 8th at 6:30 PM in the Hillsdale Elementary School gymnasium. \nIn case you are new to the pack or need a refresher\, here is what your Team (Den) must bring to the Iditarod: \n\nA (tastefully) decorated sled with a non-scratch\, slick bottom (carpet remnants or old blankets work well)\nThe sled must be able to carry at least 1 child (think laundry basket)\nThe sled must have some sort of rigging for the huskies (scouts and possibly adults) to pull the sled (strong rope securely attached to sled)\nAt least 2 safety helmets (bike\, ski\, etc.) per Team.\n\nWe are encouraging all “Mushers” to get creative and dress the part for the Iditarod. \nClick on this link if you need any inspiration http://www.iditarod.com/learn/ \nBelow are some videos of the grand finale a few years ago where the Webelos pulled their Den Leaders.

DESCRIPTION:Come out in your scariest\, silliest\, or most creative Halloween costume and join us while we walk in the West Chester Halloween Parade. Even though we may not be wearing our Cub Scout uniforms\, we are still representing the Cub Scouts and must act accordingly. Any Scouts seen misbehaving will be asked to leave the parade. \nWe will meet on Market Street between Darlington and Church Streets.  We are assigned Division #1 Order #2.  There should be people holding signs by division. \nAll participating scouts must be accompanied by a responsible adult.\nPlease note for public safety\, groups and floats will not be allowed to toss or handout candy during the parade.

Space is limited to 65 people.  Tickets are $10 per person.  This is one of our most popular events and we expect it to sell out quickly. Registration is FIRST COME\, FIRST SERVED.
