Pack 110 is very excited for our final camping overnight of the scouting year at French Creek State Park! Once an industrial complex for the fledgling United States of America, today French Creek State Park is an oasis for people and wildlife. Straddling the Schuylkill Highlands, the 7,730-acre park is the largest block of contiguous forest between Washington D.C. and New York City. French Creek has more than 30 miles of trails for hiking and biking and 2 lakes for fishing and boating. It is beautiful!
Arrival: 06/05 ~ between 3pm – 4pm
(If severe weather is threatening, a go/no-go email will be sent to the Pack by 10:00 am on 06/05)
Saturday: Set up camp, explore the site, go for a hike, have dinner, and enjoy a campfire
Sunday: Breakfast and camp breakdown
Departure: 06/06 ~ between 9am – 10am

Don’t Have a Tent? – The Pack can lend you a tent and, if needed, help you set it up (Only 1 Pack tent is available – arrangements must be made in advance with Clif Beam

Our cub scouts are currently building rockets that we expect will be launched several hundred feet into the air. All of the rockets have streamers to ensure their safe return. Please join us and your children can help us retrieve the rockets once they return to earth. Bring your assembled rocket kit and the pack will provide the rocket motor and all launch equipment.
This is a great opportunity to come see what it’s all about. Bring your own rocket to launch or just come out to watch the show. Let Lauren Buckalew (Committee Chair) or Clif Beam (Cubmaster) know you are coming. ANY INTERESTED BOYS OR GIRLS AGES K-4 ARE INVITED!

Join us for our traditional fall hayride and campfire at Highland Orchards on October 20th! The wagon will depart promptly at 7:00 pm. Around the campfire, we will enjoy s’mores and a few skits and songs performed by our scouts. Please arrive early to buy Highland Orchards’ famous apple cider and apple cider donuts.
Register early! Space is limited to 65 people. Tickets are $10 per person. This is one of our most popular events and we expect it to sell out quickly. Registration is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. We look forward to seeing you there!

Additionally, we will have Highland Orchards’ famous apple cider and apple cider donuts to enjoy around the campfire too! If you would rather bring your own ingredients, please do so.
